If this is a Lehner-Elliott duel, Lehner's save percentage is .930, while Moose's is .880.

If you had asked me before the season to guess who would have the higher save percentage, I'd have said Elliott.  This may be a critical game for the O and B.  Losing to Boston or Colorado is one thing; losing to these folks on home ice is tough to imagine.

Bring it on.

Maybe when they get blown out the water Ron will be forced to do something this status quo ain't getting it done.

If they can't win today against the Isles we are in for a very long season...

Flyers win 4 to 3.  Neuvy breaks a clavicle 4:21 into the second after mishandling the water bottle.

To be honest they are only 4 points outside of a wild card spot.

And 5 points from the lead in the Metro behind the Canes.

But nonetheless i want to see some wins.

Some good skill hockey once again being played by my Flyers.

Some smiles on the players faces.

It's time. They are putting in the work. But they aren't getting the results they seek.

But that can end today. Put the biscuit in the basket. Problem solved.

Relieve the pressure. They know the answer good hard hockey for 60 minutes and they can get back in the win column.

The have the horses to do it. We have seen how they can be. Now it's time to just go execute. Play sound disciplined hockey.

Quit all the long cross ice passes looking for the homerun all the time, quit the backward passes.

Find puck. Get puck. Keep puck. Win.

Since Neuvirth is in, and not Smeliiott, I'll say 4-3 Flyers win. Couts with 2 goals.

I know i look forward to it.

Mcdud looks like he will have a good career as a ref, he seems to have a knack for finding a nice hole to observe the play from.

He'll make a helluva a ref.

No offense but that 1st PP sucked.

No it's very offensive i can't believe we were subject to that....just flat out terrible this year. 1 PPG in the last 5 games.

And i see Sanheim with the turnover behind the net and the complimentary goal has been conceded. SMFH.

Yeah... I necessarily wouldn't see 1 out of 5 games a problem if you're creating chances but in that you had none. I remember days when Giroux created several per PP. Oh Beauvillier....

People have different perspectives. I won’t speak for others, but for myself, I will never pretend I know more than professionals who do this for a living. I’m also a super patient guy.    The big difference I’ve seen this year compared to, say, the 10 game losing streak, is how the players are talking, how the coach is talking. I see a divide. The media has turned on Hak. Hak has become combative. Hex is no longer saying he’s got full trust in Hak - instead he says that things need to

Ordinarily, I’d lay some blame on the players for running another coach out of town, but really this is Hakstol’s mess.  His teams have played emotionless, safe, perimeter hockey with no discernible improvement over the course of his tenure.  The PK has been and remains a complete disaster (and after the coaches supposedly “studied” it over summer).  He has sucked and sort of grit or aggression out of their game.  They played today like they want him gone.  That said, they are heading on a long

The Flyers top two forwards in terms of ice time and shifts were Giroux and Couturier. They combined for 54 shifts and about 42 minutes of combined ice time.   They managed four shots and one hit. Combined.   Voracek is next at 19:41 minutes of ice time. His contribution raises the totals to five shots and one hit. Combined.   77 shifts. 62 minutes of ice time. Five shots. One hit.   That's not laying an egg. Laying an egg would have taken more effort than

A cheering section?    I think most people on here call a spade a spade. Sure we all have certain players we may cut a bit more slack to, but that certainly doesn't apply to any one specific player. I'd say this is the 3rd season I've been hearing calls for Hakstols head on here. Complaining about Flyer goaltending predates the internet. So I'm not sure what you're talking about...not on here.

now there is an oxymoron for you .... surely you jest.  (just kidding ... I understand your point)   Again I totally agree with the points you are making.  Sadly there are but a few handful of us who understand the absolute stench coming from the Wells Fargo Center (or what ever the current name is).   Many fans (especially those on FB whom I avoid like the plague) ..say ...but..but. ..but you can't trade G..he had a career year last year.  Or you can't trade Jake because _____________
