After 2 periods Ricks unstoppable juggernaut super-Sabres are even with the totally inept Flyers. And the game has been about as even as it gets.

I stand corrected...Flyers look like the unstoppable juggernaut...Eichel and the Sabres look totally inept.

Nice to see the other team look like amatures and quitting.

I've thought this for a few weeks all this group needs is competent goaltending. Stolarz has been better than that.

When they pin their ears back and attack they are fun to watch.  Having a decent backstop builds confidence for them to go forward and attack.

HAHA did anyone see at the end of it Risto cross checked Patrick in the back twice and he turned around and chopped him right behind the knee where there is no padding and he dropped to the ice.

Sorry but that was funny as hell a little pay back.

6 unanswered goals and spanked the Stanley Cup favorite Buaffablo Sabbers!

Patrick barely touched him. I get that those can hurt back there, but it looked like Risto took a dive.

It was funny though.

Anyone catch the Provy interview afterwards?

That has to be the best interview I have ever seen from him.

He was cheesing from ear to ear he was so happy like a huge weight had been lifted from his shoulders.

I am so happy for him.

And finished with a goal and +5 outstanding game by him!

Hey while you're there get Rick some heavy sedatives I think he is going to need it.

Need to see if @Podein25 can swing by the Walt Whitman and stop his jump if it's not too late...bring a life preserver!

I am going to circle February 21.  The day that we are going to come in there and pummel your arses

Pummel them huh.

Like today.

Really that is all you got?

Jeff Skidder didn't show up today.

You guys are starting the rebuild again?

You guys owned today WITHOUT their #1 center.

That's what you said about today.

Hey...can you tell me what the lottery numbers aren't?

Two questions -

Weal and Lehtera were ineffective today but Lindblom was in on some high danger chances.

1. What should the 3rd line look like tomorrow?

G’s line looked damn fine today. High skill line as opposed to a more grinding line with Coots.

Let’s say Hak decides to try G, Coots, and Patrick down the middle, even just for half dozen games.

2. What’s your best (and realistic) line combos?

23 Oskar Lindblom - 15 Jori Lehterä - 84 Phil Varone

Weal is waaaaay to soft for the Jets

I want this too.  That puts Patrick where he needs to be and gets JVR where he should be.  The experiment of Giroux and wing worked but now you have JVR and some proof Patrick isn't quite ready.  Time to try what you said.
