All I can say is just watch McDavid. This kid is so good.  I went and watched him live for the first time last week. He makes guys look stupid with his speed. You tend to forget he's only 19. The Oilers will have trouble with the Flyers forcheck. That's the one area the Flyers can dominate tonight. But they will trouble with McDavid. The Flyers defense will have their work cut out for them every time McDavid is on the ice.

If only Coots was able to play and "shadow" him.  :NinjaLookLeftRight1:

LOL. Harass and "shadow" McDavid when he's standing still, sure...but when he's skating? Fuhhhgetabooout it. He's the fastest player in the league.

You know I was joking though right?

In don't think "shadowing" is how you play him anyway. Don't give him time, or don't give space (they are after all the same thing really). That's a group effort by definition.

Yeah, I know. My sarcasm sensors were on, bud. The only way to limit him, is to hit him whenever you can catch him.

Actually, McDavid might be the fastest player to EVER skate in the NHL. The kid has some INCREDIBLE wheels, not to mention many other great skills.

Paul Maurice:

"No game plan ever has or ever will work against McDavid, and none will for the rest of his career. Matching that speed is almost impossible. Well, it's completely impossible if you do it from behind. You've got no chance if you're beside him. But, if your timing's right, and you can take away his clean options, then you've got an outside chance.

I think he's that fast; I'm not trying to be funny. This guy is special. Maybe there was somebody faster; I don't remember. Maybe there was somebody just as fast; I'm not sure who that is. But, I don't think there was ever a player with a set of hands that could keep up with that speed."

Nice pass by Draisatl. Goal and an assist for my fantasy team. Flyers having a hard time with their quickness,

Lucky you. I thought I had my lineup made, and he's sitting on my bench.    :(
