Howie58
Greetings: Toronto is the favorite (-192); they are on a 7-0 run against us (won back in February 4-3 in OT, Matthews hat trick): https://www.oddsshark.com/nhl/toronto-philadelphia-odds-march-14-2024-2020074 We may be a better defensive club, but they are far better on faceoffs and offense, including the PP: https://www.nhl.com/gamecenter/phi-vs-tor/2024/03/14/2023021050 Rocky Thompson said it in the presser post-San Jose: The Flyers can only play one type of game, their own. Going on a penalty fest and playing undisciplined hockey against the Leafs will be painful.
GratefulFlyers
Damn another streaming-only game? What a PITA fiddling with those sketchy websites… This one I really want to see too. Marner is day-to-day but the Flyers will have their hands full regardless. They need to keep winning on home ice…bring back the “Philly flu” …
OccamsRazor
Good to hear because if they truly truly want to win and make the playoffs you must ice the best lineup possible play no favorites and hold everyone accountable. Only way it will truly work.

At this juncture, he gums up the works for a promising youngster. We can thank Mr. Fletcher for this stellar contribution.

Well best thing about him is his NTC is over after this year so just like Seelers deal the last two of it he can be moved. And all but 700K can be buried so not worried about Nic as of now.
AlaskaFlyerFan
What does Toronto’s lineup look like? If ND is scratched, who is going to stand up to Reaves if he starts running around?

But it reflects the mess/game the networks find themselves in with sports. Cord cutting damps demand for the traditional networks and linear. But a sizable chunk of viewers want to watch sports in real time (they don't seem to care about it with local news and most other programs) but... that crew is bothered to buy what I might call "multi-sport" packages (cable or streaming) when it only wants one. I think this is going to take years to settle, and the Bally Sports bankruptcy didn't help. So, we'll see this multi-channel model in the meantime. Not that Reaves will shy away from running anyone but at least Tortorella’s got an answer in the lineup. Thanks @Cheesesteak and @OccamsRazor fingers crossed https://the.streameast.app/nhlstreams does the trick. In my experience they all connect but I’ve never been able to watch an entire game with just one. Here's a couple more I had luck with occasionally: https://thesportsurge.net/nhlstreams/schedule https://www.vipleague.la/hockey-sports-stream First click they usually open a new window and take you to some b.s. Try a few times eventually you'll get game links. Edited March 14 by GratefulFlyers

Been a subscriber since the inception of dtv but I will be canceling in roughly 17 games. Just tired of the crap.

I have cable and Center Ice but the price has gone down quite a bit the last few years. Also now they're showing the pre-game studio stuff and the post-game wrap up/presser. Thankfully this is the last "streaming-only" Flyers' game this season.

I was paying way too much for Directv already and wasn’t about to pay for ESPN+ and Center Ice. I stream every game now. Now I just have to deal with buffering. radoran
8 minutes ago, GratefulFlyers said: guess I don't need to imagine - Deslauries is a healthy scratch. The pregame emphasis was on discipline and staying out of the box. Not sure Deslauries in the lineup supports that message. Toronto looks like they're playing a different game in the offensive zone. The movement and fluidity is noticeable and not many players have the vision of that first goal.

I have ESPN+ along with Hulu apparently. But it doesn't show up as a channel on the listing. You have to look at the "sports" panel to find it... They have more icings than they have rushes into the zone!
