hf101
Hey, Bryz was there with his thermos full of tea.Funny you say that, after the Rangers were up 3-2, I couldn't find Bryz on the Flyers' bench, he was behind the seating area, out of view for awhile. aziz
except had no problem finding Bironthat's because biron is like 112lbs. they can just put him in the stick rack, if they need to.
radoran
Teh Facebook informs me that Jagr is now out 7-10 days with a "mild left groin strain."I didn't realize the groin was so close to the calf.Good thing it's not serious. And also not a recurring, chronic injury...
Podein25
I didn't realize the groin was so close to the calf. The groin, er, "bone" is connected to the calf bone etc, etc
hf101
Jagr to miss 7 to 10 days with a mild groin strain.
fishbulb
He missed maybe 12 games between 2001-2004 and this is an "issue' ?Cmon' . It's not like he's Forsberg pretending his foot is fine or Marc Savard saying his head feels 100%.Sooo.... is his groin an issue yet?? orange_crush
Jagr decided it was too cold outside to play and wussed out..this is why Pens fans hate him, he's a selfish prima donna..

flyercanuck
Jagr decided it was too cold outside to play and wussed out..this is why Pens fans hate him, he's a selfish prima donna.. Is that why he sat on the bench with the team?
Bertmega
@orange_crushThat must be exactly what it is. Not that he injured his calf and probably couldn't skate well. Are you serious or did you run out of Midol?
canoli
have to say - echoing Rex on the NHL Network feed - Jagr showed a lot of class by coming back and hanging out on the bench with his team. Rex even made the point that "5 years ago, when he was here Jagr probably just stays in the locker room, gets a massage or whatever."I've been hating this guy so long it's hard to shift gears and support him as a fan. But he's making it easy with moves like that. Jagr told the press he was hoping the Flyers would get a PP and he could get back out there and help his team. At 39 years old, after tweaking the groin and being in pain, to stay out on the bench in an outdoor game - yes the benches were heated but still - was a classy move. Vincent05
@orange_crushYou hate him that much oc? He's done more of what we can ask for this year, there isn't anything negative that we can talk about.
doom88
Nodl's already got four points in Carolina...But Jagr has 31 points.
doom88
Yeah, he deserves better than that oc. Jagr is even backchecking! Saved a goal against Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh. Empty net goal aside, that game was a one goal margin of victory in division.
