My fantasies are so much better than this. And they really don't involve hockey. Although one involved someone related by marriage to a former Nashville Predator, but it really didn't involve hockey. Most useless pile of points of anyone on those lists. Least successful (multi-year) captain in the history of the franchise. The idea that he's "the longest tenured" in the history of the franchise is, to me, an insult to the memory of Bobby Clarke. Last night was it for me. Done. To come off that Buffalo stinker and lay an ostrich egg on top of the steaming pile... I don't know how anyone redeems that. That said, they're obviously going to extend him to "retire a Flyer." They should not be keeping players that consistently underperform. If that means attaching prospects or picks, here and there - draft well and it won't hurt much.
