End the embarrassment.

$5.6M hit next season.

$1.33M the year after that.

Give the Kraken a 2nd to take Voracek. Retain salary.

Do some ****ing thing.

End this era of medocrity, failure, and embarrassment.

And fire Holmgren. I don't want to see him in the background of a highlight video.

Give Bob Clarke a gold watch and a retirement home in Flin Flon.

End it.

Now.

Yes.

Do.

It.

I can not take another year of this.

Start the petition and the GoFundMe.  I'm in.

Yes.

Couts has been my favorite Flyer since the playoffs of his rookie year, but you have to trade him right now as well.

Coots would be my vote for C if they were to move on from Giroux.

So yes I would listen but maybe you keep him and then if they still don't look good you could trade him as a playoff rental for a nice haul.

Clearly.

My fantasies are so much better than this.   And they really don't involve hockey.

Although one involved someone related by marriage to a former Nashville Predator, but it really didn't involve hockey.   It may have ended with the tires being slashed and the headlights being blown out on my 4-wheel drive.

Jesus take the wheel!

That's not terrible actually. I'd would still rather "win a trade" though.

Seems like a waste of an asset.

Would this be the lever you pull to get him to waive the NMC?

Seems like a terrible end for him, "he was captain for 10 years, 3rd in franchise point totals and bought out with a year remaining on his contract".

that is a hell of a story.

That game was an embarrassment  and I resent the 14 minutes I spent watching it waiting for teen girl mojo to finish...teen girling? so we could watch the Nevers.

I would prefer to trade him too.

Even if it went down this offseason.

I would take a Ridly Greig or Shane Pinto for Claude Giroux from Ottawa and run.

Seems like the Sens would welcome the guy home.

Fantasy hockey is the Flyers continuing to hold on to their good players the last 10 years hoping they could rebuild while still remaining competitive.

This thing needs to be nuked from orbit.

I am with you in resentment.

I'm pretty sure I had a psychotic break.

Is the Nevers any good? Looks annoying to me. I don't have HBOMax (went with Disney+) but could be persuaded...

Addition by subtraction from where I sit.

Most useless pile of points of anyone on those lists.

Least successful (multi-year) captain in the history of the franchise. The idea that he's "the longest tenured" in the history of the franchise is, to me, an insult to the memory of Bobby Clarke.

Last night was it for me. Done. To come off that Buffalo stinker and lay an ostrich egg on top of the steaming pile...

I don't know how anyone redeems that.

That said, they're obviously going to extend him to "retire a Flyer."

Not advocating trading everyone.

Buy out Giroux. Bribe the Kraken to take Voracek.

That's it. That's the Tweet.

Don't confuse "fantasy" with "delusional". They aren't synonymous

out of a 20 man roster, I advocate trading 16, with a bullseye on some prospects who could help make the deals happen

Someone told me we can't trade everyone.

Who was that guy?

Coots does more for this team, than Giroux does, and he shows up more frequently. I trade Giroux long before him.

The ineptitude iceberg can be chipped away quickly.. They should not be keeping players that consistently underperform. If that means attaching prospects or picks, here and there - draft well and it won't hurt much.
