That said, San Jose is 1-6. While we're at home, it is back-to-back and you wonder what's left after a physical game versus the Preds. As has been repeated the skill level with the puck is not there. It has so far to go. At least the Phillies are going to the World Series. Not that I care at all about baseball. Torts benching Hayes and TK for entire 3rd period. Two leader scorers on team staples to bench with blank look on their faces. Should be an interesting presser. One thing that the press brought out is limited depth. Injuries plus benchings = a pretty lame squad. I agree with Al, Amy, and Hartsy that our first defensive pair is OK. The Panthers game will be a good test. Meanwhile, the fourth line and Sedlak game "gave good minutes" as Torts says. They were probably the best out there. I guess it happens someday.... not crazy about sandstrom, he's letting in goals that should be stopped. im guessing that they want to see if the young goalies are anything if not, i can see them getting a legit backup next offseason.
