They should definitely be part of the plans, but I don't know that any of those 3 guys are projected higher than 2nd pairing at best. More realistically, they are 4/5/6 defensemen.

If they do turn out better than that, great. But there's no reason to expect that they will.

Maybe a bad season is what the doctor ordered... though the last time that happened, we totally got ripped off.

If anyone thinks we are getting a top pairing defenseman without giving up either Coots or Schen, then you are dreaming, I dont even think we are making the playoffs this year, so if we dont, lets really tank and get a top 3 pick so we can finally draft a stud dman.

Since we last talked really I married Mrs P (last summer) and the little angel is in university getting As, causing trouble and rocking out.

I congradulate you and Mrs. P, on both the marriage, and on her willingness and ddevtotion to special needs posters. Glad to hear the angel is as wonderful as always. Is she skating yet?
