AJgoal
Looks like Eakins, then he's played with O'Reilly and Ennis. Not watching, just checking boxes.
Podein25
@flyercanuck Cheers. If I'm not mistaken, Sean has performed well (by that I mean offensive stats) wearing the red and white of Team Canada, no?
hf101
How about this line -up.Team USA advances to quarterfinals with a 3 -1 win over Slovenia Lee - Larkin - CoyleHendricks - Bonino - MorinVesey - Arcobello - SmithNelson - Eichel - Lewis Krug / FalkReilly / JonesMoore / MurphyGardiner / Redmond Lyon / Hellebuyckhttp://assets.ngin.com/attachments/document/0075/5575/Line_Chart-USA-Slovenia.May10.2015.pdf
flyercanuck
@Podein25 I'm not watching a lot of it...just catching bits here and there. The offence looks pretty good for a team put together during the NHL playoffs. The goaltending looks good for my ballhockey league.

flyercanuck
Pekka Rinne has gone 237:05 without letting a goal in. Does this mean he's almost as good as Boucher?
OccamsRazor
Who is he playing with on a line? I've only caught a bit of the action.. Canada 10-1!!! ....face Belarus in the quarters!!!!!!

jammer2
Crosby scratched today, Couturier on the first line with Hall and Eberle. I'm just wondering out loud, could this be the great boost in confidence that Cooter needed to take his game to the next level??
Podein25
I'm just wondering out loud, could this be the great boost in confidence that Cooter needed to take his game to the next level??Can't hurt. It, along with a new coach (and some decent wingers) should help. The rest is up to him.

I haven't been able to see as much of the tournament as I'd like, so most of what I've known is what I've seen in the highlights on NHL network. ScottM
@hf101 Thanks. The time difference really gets in the way, doesn't it? All the games are played in the morning or afternoon here, so if you have to work, you're just out of luck.

hf101
USA plays Russia in one of the SemiFinals, Canada will play the Czechs. Ovechkin has flown to Russia to play in Saturday's game as they kept one spot on the roster open. His teammate made a fairly bold statement. @IIHFHockeyRussia's Panarin on next game: "We're in a fighting mood to play the Americans. We need to teach those college kids a lesson." #IIHFWorld
ScottM
This is just me thinking out loud, but I wonder if the Russians might not also want to get a win over Steve Moses since he may be coming to the NHL next year. A bit of a "going away present," if you will.

JagerMeister
Am i the only one who finds the IIHF Hockey championships far more entertaining than the stanley cup playoffs as of now...Sure, the refs are even worse in IIHF than NHL (that speaks levels of how bad the reffing is in IIHF..) But i love the atmosphere, the creativity, and the high scoring games. Something that is not as common during NHL games.

hf101
A valiant effort by "Collegiate" Team USA scoreless through 2.5 periods deflated though after the Russians scored 2 goals. Considering they played against Ovechkin, Malkin, Kovalchuck, Tarasenko they played a strong back and forth game. http://www.iihfworlds2015.com/en/games/2015-05-16/USA-vs-RUS/
