As part of my season ticket holder benefits the Flyers invited me to a 10 year reunion of a handful of the 2010 players on a Zoom type system where we could see and hear all the players but they could not hear or see us (see screenshot at end of recap). It was hosted by Steve Coates and radio announcer Tim Saunders. In attendance were JVR, Scott Hartnell, Claude Giroux, Simon Gagne, Danny Briere, Ian laperriere, Kimmo Timonen, and Brian Boucher. BTW speaking of kids, during the discussion we got to meet the newly minted Gavin Giroux. Also my firstborn was 4 months old during the Flyers Bruins game 7 and my wife and I decided we would go down to the city and enjoy game 7 with the people. We couldn't get a baby sitter so we took my son in the car seat carrier into Chickies and Pete South Philly for the game. He slept most of the time and was unfazed by the bedlam that ensued when the clock went to 0:00!

Game 7 of the Bruins series I was supposed to meet some friends for beers. I told them I would be late because of the game. The Flyers were down 3-0 and my buddy texted me and told me their season was over and time quit watching and head to the bar. I remember telling him I had a good feeling and would never forgive myself if I stopped watching and the Flyers came back to win. So I chose to stay at home and watch the rest

2010 was such a fun playoff season. I remember that Bruins series thinking damn I can't believe they haven't won a game yet. These games are so close.
My Daughter was 5 and had a Flyers sweater I would ask her to wear it on game days that season and the team was 10-1 when she wore it. One of the loses though was to Boston. I wasn't able to talk her into wearing her "Flyin'" shirt on the day of game 6 . The word intransigen
