Game 12: Coyotes @ Flyers, 10/30/17

Greetings:

To nobody's surprise, we are the favorite:

On face, the 0-10-1 Yotes are terrible offensively and defensively.  A 10% PP may tell the story.  Without Raanta, it looks like a no-name will be in goal.  But that scares me--will we take this team too lightly. Our D may juggled with Ghost apparently out.  Starting Morin would put three rookies on our D.  Well, I guess you could argue Phoenix would be a good baptism of fire.

Best,

Howie

This game makes me nervous too.  We never seem to do well in these situations.  Hopefully that was a last year issue!

Well you Rinaldo and Luke have to score against them ao they go in already down 2-0....

Rinaldo is actually a regular for Arizona?

I'm not sure but he is expected to be in the lineup.

I'm not sure Rinaldo and regular should ever be in the same sentence.

Oh and i forgot Cousins so damn they are down 3-0...

it's an easy money bet that Cousins scores tonight.

Have the 'Yotes been having bad luck ?

I thought there was a fair amount of young talent on that team.  I'm surprised they're winless.

Uh 0-10-1 would count as bad luck if there ever was any......right?

Yeah i remember him having a try out this preseason and forgot about him.

So yeah 10 years later after getting drafted he makes Flyers pay...it's not looking good 4-0........

:bye:

He has zero PIMs in 6 games. He has zero hockey skill so what is he doing if he isnt fighting?

Taping sticks. Sharpening skates. Making Gatorade. Got to stay busy. :D

You forgot making popcorn. Never forget popcorn!

As a side note, we turned 6th rounder Rinaldo into 3rd rounder Ustimenko.

Well, they could just suck.

Are they getting beat by 3 goals every night or are they losing tight games with 5 minutes to go in the 3rd... is more what I'm talking about.

Didn't realize the Coyotes' Kempe is the same Kempe as the one the Flyers drafted those many moons ago.  I recall there being some hype around him, but he was too small to play.  Guess he showed them...

Is Morin injured?  Why is he not likely to play?  Why call him up if he has an injury?

Have a feeling this one doesn't end well for the Flyers.

Oh, does LV have a line on which player Rinaldo takes out?  I'm going with Laughton.  Maybe Konecny.

I  won't be able to watch. But it may be an interesting line-up experiment. Tocchet may be playing for his job. And he might want to show up his former "org an eye zhation," as our friends north of the 48th parallel state.

By the way, if Alt is playing well, fine.  Finding out who are call-ups/trade material are can't be so bad.

Yeah it's official.

Man how bad does that suck Sam finally gets a break and now he is broke....unreal.

However it is good for Alt to get a cup of coffee he has been a good soldier and deserves it too.

So i guess it could shake out like this....

9 Ivan Provorov - 8 Robert Hägg
23 Brandon Manning - 39 Mark Alt
6 Travis Sanheim - 3 Radko Gudas

I guess with Ghost out and Alt in Radko becomes the smallest guy at 6-0 205.
