flyerrod
Also who is the brain surgeon who put Staal back on the ice…..bad enough we have to keep Johnson in……
GratefulFlyers
Konecny is really fighting it or something...he hasn't connected with a pass all game - or hit the net. Farabee is invisible again Atkinson the same... maybe Farabee is playing thru some health issue...an injury or something. I hope so (in a way). edit: Tippett from the blue line holycow...that was a ripper ... Edited April 6 by GratefulFlyers
Samifan
Flyers trailing by one and Staal and Johnson are pinching, this will end well
GratefulFlyers
Backbreaker 2.0. that one Fedotov has to have. fkn ridiculous the Sabres haven't scored 4 goals in one game all year ... (slight exaggeration). Jeezuschrist Konecny WTF how many turnovers can you make in one shift? I counted 3 on that last one...and the Sabres still couldn't ice the game. Blind drop passes and at least a dozen failed cross ice passes in the offensive zone. #VeryJakeLike 2

Howie58
Outshooting the opponent and still losing is nothing new for this squad. Morganti hitnthe nail on the head. We can't beat a hot goalie with shots from 30 feet out. The Tippett score is an outlier.
AlaskaFlyerFan
The Hockey Gods were looking out for the Flyers tonight. Carolina beat the Caps 4-2 with 2 goals in the last 2 minutes and the Rangers beat the Wings. 1

AlaskaFlyerFan
They still dropped to the 2nd wildcard by virtue of the Islanders having the same number of points but playing less games than the Flyers.

mkscrewy
this kind of hurts, but I didn't think Stolarz had the stuff from what he showed when he was here. I also don't put a whole lot of stock into GAA, but he's done well the last few seasons. Bobs on the other hand... that was a major **** up. That was also an assessment by Morganti. And it's a problem that hasn't gotten better as the season has progressed. Perhaps Torts should hold himself accountable on that too. No. I said he has, for me, proven he has what it takes to be a 2C. That doesn't necessarily mean he has put everything together and has immediately proven to be a 2C. Again, for me, he's close. Thats where the whole cusp thing comes into place. 1

BobbyClarkeFan16
We got spoiled by the success of this club. They weren't supposed to be as good as they were and we're seeing what they should have really been this year. They overachieved. They now potentially have the 13th overall choice and could slide back further if they lose out. What does that mean? Konsta Helenius, Tij Iginla or Berkly Catton is within their grasp. All three are future number one centers, something this organization is lacking. So, not the end of the world. Next season is when they should make a big jump. Always loved his dad and always thought he would have been an amazing Flyer. In fact every hockey game I played I always traded for Iginla so he did become a Flyer. What might have been.
