Go Flyers!!!

Flyers win 5-3 TK with an empty netter for his 1st.

There is a note Gudas will be back tonight. I would say in either Schultz or Mcdud's spot.

Looks like Dapper Dan Bylsma has "taken note" of Radko's return...  ooooooo, could be a physical game!

Hmmm.....

The Flyers have recalled left wing Taylor Leier from their AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, according to general manager Ron Hextall today.

Leier will be available for tonight's game against the Buffalo Sabres, wearing #58.

Very strange. We have no shortage of forwards. Did someone get traded or waived?

Not that I can tell.  IMHO--he wants more offense from the bottom 6.  Outside of Read, not much happening down there lately.

I hope they didn't practice.  HJ's mind will explode if Bylsma makes them prack-tiss.  (gasp!).

Probably practice how to face the boards and put your head down.  "Learn this, Matt Moulson.  You're doing nothing else for us!"

Media here in WNY is reporting Lehner has the flu and Nilsson is slated to start for the Sabres tonight. They did recall Ullmark from the Amerks so I guess he could also give a vezina performance against us tonight :NinjaLookLeftRight1:

Interesting to see how Gudas plays.

I am still a fan of his.....until and/or if he ever does anything that is deemed truly "dirty"....and I certainly hope he learns his lessons and progresses as a stout defender, but I certainly don't want to see his game "nerfed".

Radko Gudas offers a very specific, effective, and useful skillset, and if he is no longer allowed to use it, he may as well find another career.

But now it falls on him to adapt his tough style without really losing it.

If he does, I pity Sabres players who think they will be going for a walk in the park in the offensive zone tonight.
