I was in the "hater" group, but I'd rather call it the "skeptics." Plus, if we agreed on everything all the time, it would be boring as sh!t! At the end of the day we all love the Flyers and want to see them win 5 of the next 10 Cups. Ok, ok... I'd settle for 1 in the next decade. I can't remember who the people were, but there were some folks disappointed with Couturier. Me? Around that very same period, my team had Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Boyd Gordon and miles of mud at centre, so my fantasy was that Flyers management was disappointed with Coots as well, and would be willing to move him to Edmonton, as he was a centre that I really admired and wanted. He was one of Ron Hextall's FA signings...I think he dressed 10 times in his Flyers career, wow. Small world, good times, the Boyd Gordon eras.
