man this is a slow, boring deadline.

Yeah really, good thing for the players and there families which is great obviously since I am sure it is very difficult to pick up and move but boring as hell for us.

Not looking good for moving Simmer.

Minnesota just got Fiala from Nashville for Granlund.

I guess Flyers has a very little room for cap space (3 mil) and bunch needs to sign. So it's someone got to go. And Simm is UFA so he will trade or will lose during off season. Flyers will not get much for me. Maybe 2nd round even so doubt about. Who is really needs to go is Andrew MacDonald.

Remember Provorov is RFA. Flyers are either sign him or he gets what he wants thru arbitration.

Beside McDonald I have a big problem with Jakub Voracek. Big money but not really good production. He has tendency over hold puck. He is big guy but very rare using his size to drive a net.

Hartman and a 4th rounder that can be a 3rd if Nashville wins a round........

Hartman can be a really good physical 2 way player and a more than likely 3rd rounder.  Not a bad return.

Hartman's on a 1-year $875,000 contract.  RFA after this year.  I get the feeling Fletcher is saving room for a big fish when free agency starts.

Hartman??  We now have like 6 guys that should play on the 4th line.  I am tired of all the average players we have on this team.

There must be some other reason MacDonald stays in the lineup than we all see.

Yeah he has some incriminating pictures of someone...

Let's make the playoffs so we can get dismantled by TB in the first round.  I hope we lose every game the rest of the way.

I mean, at the end of the day, Fletcher has not harmed this team, and in fact, he's done a lot of little tweaks that have made the team better.   Weal, Weise, Lehtera, and Folin are gone. People have been clamouring for the first 3 to be banished for years.   He's got the young guys playing to a degree that does not exist anywhere else in the NHL. We have the most guys 23 and under at 11. That's half the roster.   And, he got what he likely could for Simmer, who's v

The organization was screed when they fired Hextall without a plan.    And apparently NOT because he refused to can Hakstol.     Homer and Scott must go.  Period.  We’re all boned until then.     Dont get me wrong. For Hakstol, Hexy deserved to go. But if NOT for that... and without a plan... then they were just being idiots who let their egos screw over their organization.

My 6 year old son's reaction when hearing of the Simmonds trade...   Son: "What?!? They traded Simmonds!?! Why?!..... (genuinely upset that one of his favorite flyers was leaving....) FOR WHO!?!" Me: (looking at Computer)...."Ryan Hartman?....." Son: WHO?!.... Me: Exactly.   Then I proceeded to try and explain hockey as a "business" and cap space to a 6 year old with a "screen" in his hand.....and you can imagine how that went.   Anyway, i was hoping

Yeah, maybe. Hextall pulled off some great deals in getting rid of things (Hartnell's contract though most fans did not like the trade; Luke Schenn and VLC, Pronger, Rinaldo for a 3rd) and also made some smart hockey trades (Schenn for 2st rounders and Sniffles).   But two of his biggest trades - Hartnell and B Schenn - brought back anchors that dragged down the roster for years.    And he failed to make a single trade to bring in a major asset. Fletch is being judged on that
