Aye carumba I knew it was bad - I didn’t think it was that bad. Where is Joe Mullen these days? Somebody page him quick. Knoblauch, Therrien and now Rocky Thompson…all duds. Since Mullen left the Flyers’ PP has consistently sucked. I see Provorov has 5 PP points (all assists) in Columbus. Gostisbehere has 6 in Detroit. Especially how often it happens - for over a decade - in Philadelphia. Coaches. Players. Systems. Doesn't seem to matter. The Flyers don’t move their feet nearly enough to create lanes and gaps in the D. Of course first they have to figure out how to enter the zone with the puck, which is a separate issue that has been consistently terrible the past 3 or 4 years. I know many fans hate the dump and chase but it’s a legit play on the PP and should work most of the time. Carolina does it, the Rangers too. Olle is on a tear down in the AHL on pace for 52 goals this season. Already had 10 goals in 14 games 12 points why wait? I mean if they want to win and make the playoff like they claim send the young guys down to work on their game and confidence. Let's see what Olle can do on the big team...i mean it is a rebuild and they have nothing to lose but to well lose...
