Samifan
Now that his suspension is served, does he dress again this season?I for one hope he is relegated to salting Snider's popcorn and placing a napkin in Snider's lap for the remainder of the season. I'd also be ok with an outright release effective immediately.

fanaticV3.0
We're within 5 points of a playoff spot without him, it's practically a guarantee they're in now that he's back. His energy is contagious!!!

JackStraw
Now that his suspension is served, does he dress again this season? Sure. For the Phantoms. Or maybe Reading.
Podein25
Or maybe Reading I'd be okay with that, but I suggest he starts with comics or something like that before he tackles Ulysses or War and Peace.
radoran
Rinaldo is signed through 2017. Yes, 2017. His cap hit ($850K) can be buried in the AHL however. I expect that we will see him on the ice for the Flyers before the end of the season.
JackStraw
I expect that we will see him on the ice for the Flyers before the end of the season. You think he can drive a Zamboni? (Without crashing into the boards I mean)
radoran
You think he can drive a Zamboni? (Without crashing into the boards I mean) No, I think they're going to suit him up and put him on a line. You know how they do.

King Knut
Sure. Points in 7 straight games. Why learn anything from this? Put the idiot back in. Now that his suspension is served, does he dress again this season?
murraycraven
Rinaldo would get carried away and clock someone with his shovel! Maybe he could take said shovel and clock Umberger, Read, MacDud and VLC! Might be the only productive thing he could do on the ice for the Flyers! LegionOfDoom
A line of Rinaldo, White and Belly is what I want to see suit up.
doom88
Rinaldo isn't perfect, but if you think the NHL would actually be fair when handing down penalties, you've got another thing coming. It might be a good starting idea though.
flyercanuck
@radoran Ah, The Wizard of Oz, my favorite all-time movie!!!!! Hey I noticed the Flyers didn't come up with one of their stupid slogans this year (or did they). How about "We represent the lollypop guild?" OccamsRazor
Wow Zac got shitted on that cheap shot by Chimera and showed restraint and still had to sit in the box....this is going overboard with the refs just taking liberties with Zac might as well sit him no matter what he does he is a target by refs. jammer2
@OccamsRazor From this point forward, Zac will always be watched (even more than before) during all shifts....so much so that his usefulness has come to an abrupt end. Time to part ways.
RonJeremy
Rinaldo attempts a perfectly clean hit ,but the douche on NBC says Rinaldo threw a flying elbow... then that turd Chimera starts with Rinaldo, he doesnt even get his gloves off takes an uppercut and he gets 5 mins. What a friggin joke, the ref shold be written up and suspended. Chimera should have gotten 2 for instigation plus 5 for figting, rinaldo should have not gotten any penalty. Talk about biased refereeing.
jammer2
@RonJeremy Well, we better get used to it....most refs will not be fair when it comes to Zac....it's time for him to go....he can't play on the edge anymore, so he is not nearly as useful as he once was. Yep the only way he gets away from those calls or get the refs to turn the other way is to join the Pens till then he'll just keep getting picked on by the refs... jammer2
@OccamsRazor Rinaldo is in the exact same spot that Downie was with the Flyers before getting traded, watched so close it's not worth icing him.

Too bad Hexy went and signed him to a 2 year extension...not looking like a smart move...the good thing if you want to call it that is they can waive him and get his whole salary off the books i think. jammer2
@OccamsRazor He makes 850,000 a year, which I believe is the limit you can save by stashing a guy in the AHL.....so if need be, we could send him to the Phantoms and save all his NHL cap hit, which is kinda nice.
