I know Jones hasn't done anything since he did the magical run with the Sharks in 2016. I was hoping that Fletcher would have signed Holtby instead since Hart and Holtby know each other and Holtby is better than Jones (Holtby ended signing with Dallas for the same cost). The schedule being compressed made this an important thing to get right and this feels mostly "not that". Positive spin: Jones was good/ spectacular a couple a 4 years ago, are his bad numbers and play a product of his team's slow circle of the drain ? Yes Chuckles is feeling the heat so he is rolling the dice on a few of these guys. It seems boom or bust. I sure would love a deep playoff run. Just can't take another year of shi tty hockey.
