For example, if Lindros wasn't suing ex-ref Paul Stewart, I would never have wondered if Eric was an "unfriendly, hostile, rude, insulting, vindictive, cruel, uncharitable and generally a despicable person." However, with that being said, one can argue that being an @$$hole is subjective. I for one think the Big E is a giant doucher and should embrace the title of Worlds Biggest A-hole. Stewie is... I don't know. I tend to think he should have refrained from writing all that or at least from naming names. Lindrosing may have been a complete jerk, but I tend to look at these things in their context. For an analytic example: Ted Kennedy was a boozer and did some amazingly douchey things (politics aside) but then again, I might be a boozer and do some amazingly douchey things if two of my brothers were assassinated and the third was killed in a war and everyone expected me to fill their shoes. Who am I to say? So if I'm supposed to be the greatest player in the world but I can't stay healthy and my GM can't find me a goalie or a 2nd or 3rd D pairing to save his life and my parents are total ass holes to everyone including me...
