OccamsRazor
I wouldn't mind seeing Drewsie on the bottom pair...i think i have seen enough of Manning. He couldn't be worse could he???
OccamsRazor
35 Steve Mason[30 Michal Neuvirth] David Strehle @DStrehleTFP 19m19 minutes ago#Flyers say Steve Mason won't participate in morning skate because he's under the weather, but will be available for tonight's game in CGY. David Strehle @DStrehleTFP 15m15 minutes agoSo pretty safe to say Michal Neuvirth will be getting his 2nd straight start on this west coast swing, with Mason backing him up. Sure it couldn't be that he's been out played oh no!!!

briere48
i look at this team, i have never seen it so unbalanced, i mean you have center playing rw, rw playing lw, ugh and a lack of left wingers and right handed defensemen, yes we have gudas and schenn but we dont have one for the third pairing, that's still a problem. i understand hextall has the cap tied up but still balance out your roster, that's the reason why this team is so bad, so many guys playing out of position. we are dealing with andy reid of hockey. radoran
we are dealing with andy reid of hockey. Excepting that Hextall's acquisitions for this roster are limited to: UmburglarSchultzGudasDel ZottoNeuvirthMedvedevGagnerWhiteBellemare The first two aside, I think that's a pretty good list, especially given that he had Very Little wiggle room to make that happen over the past two years. hf101
Neuvirth in goal tonight as Mason didn't practice this morning due to illness. He will dress for the game though as the backup.
jammer2
Guys, we are playing against Kari Ramo tonight...he of the 1-4 record with an unslightlly .884 save % and a GGA in the 4.0's.....if we don't fill the net against him, we will not fill the net against anyone. Doesn't mean anything. Flyers are amazing at making bad goalies looks like Vezina candidates. Ramo will probably post a shutout with 57 saves
jammer2
@RJ8812 Well, the one that the Flames really have going for them is they are 2nd in the NHL at defensive turnovers at just over 26% .....for a team like the Flyers that struggle to forecheck and create turnovers daily, this could be a real problem. OccamsRazor
Flames first goal was a classic Flyers clusterphuck initiated by Vinnie. Why is Ganger scratched?God I hate this team And then Manning has a chance at the loose puck and then he decides to impersonate Scott Hartnell...damn Manning and Vinny....Manning must have incriminating evidence on Hakstol....how he is even still on this roster much less still playing is beyond me.......... It's not even *my* city and I love that post. I adopted them 40 years ago, not the same as living there of course, but Philly pride is so very important to me also.
