He has done a good job of acquiring young talent, but it does not take a genius if you have the number one pick twice in past 5 years. But his goaltending choices have left us on the brink. We might make it this year? If we do not mess things up. The teams around us are ripe for the picking but the goalie shuffle continues. I know nothing about this Fletcher fella. Do you really put him to blame? After all you have a 30 plus goal scorer and have won a good share of games, even though it does not seem likely the playoffs are going to happen. Fletchers impact on the team is his ability to lose every trade he makes, terrible, and I mean terrible cap management, constantly throwing away draft picks, and just generally looking like he doesn't have a clue how to build a hockey team. Which he doesn't. Five years after taking over a Flyer team on the playoff bubble, Fletchers has them in the same position, but in total cap hell.
