  2. Turns out that is one they actually got registered for Trade Mark haha...Mammoth and Yetis they registered too which both aren't bad either... Playing coach-team matchmaker, the Utah Yetis, and more https://www.thescore.com/nhl/news/2900928
  3. I really like the way this team is trending. Marty St Louis has done a great job of steadily guiding the young talent and their depth on defense seems to be superior. With a little luck on the injury side they could be competing next year to make the playoffs in a very tough Atlantic division. What say you?
  4. While there are many records by Gretzky that will probably not be broken, there is one that he does not own that will never be broken. I speak of course of Henri Richards 11 Cup titles.
  5. Stankoven sounds like he should be everyone's hook up for the good Satavia strains. Stankoven's House of Dank!

    NHLPowerplay?

Hi, I used to play a game at my local bar where you would get a device like used in trivia, but you would predict scoring plays and scoring players as the game was played. Does anyone know what I am talking about and what it was called?
  8. He made a nice record for this 2023-2024 season. In 75 played games he was able to get 96 points (46 goals; 50 assists; +/- +11). If he didn't miss 6 games because of the injury, then he probably would pass the record of 2021-2022 season when he had 108 points (47 goals; 61 assists) in 81 played games. A couple days ago I listened his interview which was taken before his birthday by the Russian sport channel. His number he took mainly because he was born in 1997. And the channel gave him 97 different questions regarding sport and his life. It seems his main goal is to get a Stanley Cup. He prefers to spend his vacation in mountains, but not near the ocean or sea. Last year he was at Colorado mountains and was impressed of the nature there. Few weeks ago, he has got his personal car Porsche, which was made by his wishes/requests. For previous 3 years he drove a leasing car Audi.
  9. Listened to him on our boat so many times. Made a bad day of fishing not so bad. RIP Al
  10. I wonder if the Stars would be interested in TK for one of their 2 young centers? Stankoven or Borque? Just throwing it out there. Now before someone chimes in I know neither of them are big. Just spitballin...
  11. I'd trade Konecny. Not for Zegras, unless their 1st rounder is coming with it and it's not.
  12. I am far more inclined to trade TK than resign him. My crystal ball tells me he will get $80 mill over 8 years and be at the home for broken Flyers with Ellis, Couturier and Johansen in 3 years. It's the Flyer way.
  13. As a bruins fan, i don't care for him all that much. Great energy and passion, and outstanding hockey knowledge but his blatant homerism made him suck to listen to sometimes.
  14. If they sent Konecny for Zegras that would tell me that Briere was full on listening while Fletcher was mentoring him.
  15. The best. Your North Stars skating left to right.
  16. Applying the awesome Viking funeral to the Islanders sullies the ritual, Odin will be greatly displeased. If you must, you may apply it to your beloved Bolts who are worthy of Valhalla. No ale for the Islanders !
  17. Off topic, but I just about did a cartwheel when I saw Jack Edwards was retiring. Jack Edwards was the worst. He even out homered Lapanta…
  18. Oh, and ANOTHER thing Getting "your Point" in the second round is great. Now, where do they get "their" Stamkos and Hedman?
  19. Yurov re-signs with Metallurg Magnitogorsk, 1-year, $434,000 deal. So 'Yurov Watch' comes to a quick and unceremonious end!
  20. He certainly didn't mind sharing his feelings about the team if he didn't think something was right or perhaps getting a bit sarcastic about a non-call. While that's usually shamed in today's broadcasters, I'd be happier with that than today's brown-nosing, excuse-making homers so many teams have working their broadcasts.
  21. That's pretty fair. Although I thought Spurgeon's game was in decline even before he got hurt this season. He looks slower and more timid which for a pint-sized defenseman who is getting older is not a good sign. But they definitely need him to be top notch if this team is going to do anything; and by anything I mean just making the playoffs. I don't have a big issue with Danila Yurov spending one more season in the #KHL either, but I think he could make a bigger impact. IMO, it was kind of like Eric Staal when he arrived, he was a force multiplier. He helped the team have two dangerous lines. I think Yurov could do that. However, next year...it's going to be the same underwhelming team needing just about everything to go right in order to make the post-season and still probably do nothing once it gets there. My only fear is that Guerin will add another big grit guy because of the mental fragility discussed in their post-season press conference.
